Just a quick update while I'm here in Chicago and up at 6.30am having had very little sleep:)

Having a great time so far, met so many lovely people and am so glad I'm came here.  Did some sightseeing the last couplke of days, Chicago is a fantastic city and the weather has been great.

The cocktail party was fantastic, spoke to Gareth got a hug and said he liked my dress:)  Yes I wore a dress for the first time in years what is happening to me:)

Carole is lovely and was telling us about John.  Can't wait till later when John will speak via a video link and we'll have to see what happens for the cabaret tonight.  Poor Tom getting injured but he was soldiering on and it was so nice to see him.

I will do a report when I eventually get home cos I'm normally so bad at these things and will try and update later.

So today I went and watched the London Marathon in the hope of spotting Kai and failed:)  I stood for around an hour near Tower Bridge at the time he'd expected to be there and didn't see him.  I did however see Peter Andre and Katie Price AKA Jordan, not the people I wanted to see...
Then went to Canary Wharf and stood there for a while on the off chance.

Still it was fun to watch everyone including a man dressed as Pamela Anderson (I'm not kidding), policemen, rhinos, spiderman and lots of other interesting outfits.

I hope Kai did ok and was disappointed I didn't get to see him, but I will see him in Chicago which is only about 5 weeks away now, can't wait.

Ok I got the idea for the twitters from rozzietheaussie</lj> and tried it out for the first time yesterday in Birmingham using text, but just so you know I'm only intending to use it for TW stuff or related events, and there are a few things coming up so feel free to follow me on twitter. Username is grasshopper64.

And a bit more about yesterday, was glad I went even if John was only on for 10 mins.  Luckily it didn't rain and wasn't too cold.  Couldn't get any good pics as I just wasn't near enough and it was too crowded.  He sang What About Us, I love that song, and they did a quick interview with him, nothing you haven't heard before.  Then I managed to leg it round to the back of the stage area just in time to see John being whisked out in a car.:)

Gareth will be at Birmingham Memorabilia at the NEC on 22 & 23 November, and I'm probably going to go on the Saturday, anyone else going?

And as if that wasn't enough (having only just seen him at the hub & signing in London) he's also at Roomes stores, Upminster on Sunday 7 December to which I'll also be going as it's only half an hour away from me.  He's also in Norwich on that Saturday (not going to that one:))  Busy man.  I'm running out of things for him to sign...And he'll be fed up with seeing me lol.

Gareth is actually in Birmingham this Saturday, at this Kool Skools thing but I'm off to see John up the road at the Christmas Lights concert at Millenium Point.  He's meant to be on at 5.00 off at 5.10 and I'm sure it'll be packed but hey it'll be worth it. I wish they'd do something together, I know they're completely different musically but they could sing that Meatloaf song Gareth mentioned in an interview and John could be Cher:)

Seriously John has so many TV appearances and stuff coming up I can't keep up, my diary has almost nothing but TW related stuff in it. 

And in other news they've announced Eve for the hub 2 yay!

Can't say enough how brilliant this con was.  John, Gareth and Kai were fantastic and gave us fans more than we ever could have hoped for.  Seriously actual man kissing and lots of it, plus the flashing.  Still can't believe it all happened.

Here's my highlights.  I didn't get many good pics and sadly none of the said snoggage or other naughtiness.  Despite having a decent camera I just couldn't get the right shots from where I was sitting and think I was too distracted to be able to take decent pics of the crucial moments:)  Still there are many droll worthy ones out there and I haven't beem able to stop staring at them:) I'll post the better ones when I've gone through them.

I'll come back and add more to this as and when I remember things oh and hi to everyone I met even if I don't remember who you all were:)...
